FAMOUS 4TH STREET COOKIE COMPANY COOKIE BAKING COMPETITION FINALS OCTOBER 20TH
Grand prize winner’s recipe will serve as inspiration for the Famous 4th Street Cookie Company’s next famous cookie
PHILADELPHIA – In celebration of National Cookie Month in October, The Famous 4th Street Cookie Company announced its second baking competition in partnership with Reading Terminal Market on August 15th. Applicants were invited to submit their best cookie recipe for a chance to have their cookie sold nationwide by The Famous 4th Street Cookie Company. Over 15 bakers submitted their cookie recipes for the competition and three cookies and bakers were chosen for the finals. Finalists are invited to Reading Terminal Market’s City Kitchen to participate in a live bake-off in front of a panel of judges on October 20th. Following the bake-off, one grand-prize winner will be selected. The grand prize winner will receive a $500 gift card from Reading Terminal Market, Reading Terminal Market and Famous 4th Street Cookie Company apparel and swag.
