Introducing... Salted Chocolate Caramel!

She’s a treasure. In 1978, Philly diners needed a really good cookie to complete a meal at their favorite deli, and The Famous 4th Street Cookie Company was born. Famous 4th Street’s chocolate chip and macadamia nut cookies are nothing short of perfection. Whoever is behind these cookies deserves a trophy—no, a monument. These cookies are massive, with a perfect texture, crispy edges and a gooey, melt-in-your-mouth center. Each bite is like a warm hug, and the cookies are so satisfying. I am a fan!

My wife and I purchased the chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, M&M, and a black and white cookie. All of them were excellent, but it was the B&W cookie that blew me away. Excellent take on a childhood classic.

Definitely can have a line depending on day/time, but overall truly worth 5 stars. I was visiting from DC at the time so I had no idea what to expect at Reading Terminal Market. At some point towards close (maybe 1hr or 30 minutes before) cookies are $1 which I happened into, but obviously you run the risk of them being out of the staples (or chocolate chip). Literally the 6 people in front of me all asked for chocolate chip cookies which they were out of. If you don’t have a nut allergy then chocolate chip + nut option was amazing as were the s’mores. Parking: Busy downtown Philly….so like any other large US city, it can be a challenge and you likely will have to walk a few blocks. Kid-friendliness: Like a mall but entirely food focused, so yes.

This place is inside the Reading Terminal. You can’t miss it! It is simply at the main entrance as soon as you walk in. The cookies are huge and delicious. I ate my way through one of the oatmeal raisins. There is a nice selection of cookies. There was a line but it goes fast.

Brian and the crew there at The Reading Terminal Market have the best tasting, best variety of cookies you will find in the city. Fantastic. I give them as Christmas gifts every year and my friends and family love them. I can’t say enough, just utterly delicious!!!! Go get yourself a few dozen. You will love them.

I had a pumpkindoodle cookie which was billed as a snickerdoodle with pumpkin pie spice. It was thoroughly enjoyable.

Theee softest, most tender, most flavorful, scrumdidliumptious cookies I’ve ever had! And their customer service is next level. They’re courteous, kind and welcoming! I ordered a 6 pack with all different varieties and the gentleman put 1 wrong cookie in my bag. I pointed it out and he simply handed me the correct cookie (I ordered peanut butter chocolate chip but he put peanut butter). No questions asked. Hey, I got an extra cookie. I’m not complaining, I’m complimenting. These guys are awesome!!!! This is the toffee cookie. OMG 😱

10/10 cookies. They were soft and full of flavor. I bought the macadamia nut and peanut butter cookie. Pricing was fair!

Best cookies in the country perhaps! Always requested for me to bring to family and friends across the world when I visit them.
