Our cookies are best consumed within 5 days of receipt at room temperature. Do not put cookies in refrigerator. Left over cookies can be frozen for up to 6 months. You can also pop one cookie in the microwave for about 5-10 seconds for a delicious fresh baked taste.

We offer ground shipping on the east coast of the US, which should arrive within 1-3 business days, and express delivery from 1-3 days. Pickups are available at our retail location at Reading Terminal Market in Center City, Philadelphia, PA or our bakery in East Falls, Philadelphia, PA.

The cookies are baked and shipped from our small batch bakery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Our packing slip includes only the recipient’s name, address, and cookie selection. All shipping labels list Famous 4th Street Cookie Co as the shipper. You have the option of including your name on the complimentary Gift Card at checkout, but this feature is optional.

Our lowest priced product is our Treasure Gold Gift Box of Chocolate Covered Pretzels for $19.95 plus shipping charges. 

All our products are produced in a facility that handles tree nuts, peanuts, and dairy. Our machines are thoroughly cleaned between production of each batch of cookies. Currently, our only nut-free assortment is the American Classic, which features our famous Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, Sugar, and Snickerdoodle cookies. You can also select a box or tray containing a single flavor without nuts or select various nut-free cookies with your own Custom Assortment. All cookies that contain peanuts and/or tree nuts are clearly labeled as such in their name.

Our Chocolate Oatmeal Crunch and Oatmeal Orange Cranberry Cookie are both gluten free. However, please note that these cookies are made in a facility that also processes dough that contain gluten.

Yes, we offer same day courier service in Center City, Philadelphia 7-days a week. Rates for delivery vary by zip code and weight of packages. Local deliveries are managed by TimeCycle and GoForDelivery. For price quotes, call our office Monday through Friday at 215-625-9870 and be ready with the recipient’s zip code and desired product. We also offer FedEx same day delivery up to 35 miles from center city. Orders must be placed by 12 noon for same day delivery.

We offer custom colored Sugar cookies, custom colors for the white frosting on our Black & Whites, and custom frosting for our Cookie Cakes. We do not put edible images on our cookies. We do not make custom shaped cookies. We can label individually wrapped cookies with any custom sticker when provided.

Local Deliveries in Center City Philadelphia can be made on weekends. Currently, UPS does offer Saturday deliveries in many locations – approximately 70% of the continental US – for an additional charge. If UPS offers Saturday delivery in your recipient’s area it will appear as an option at checkout. Your order would have to be placed by 11am Friday. UPS does not ship or deliver on Sundays.

Because we rely on third party companies to complete our shipments we cannot personally guarantee a shipment. UPS has some levels of service where they guarantee delivery – if it does not arrive in time, the shipping charges are refunded. We suggest sending your gift to a business address where a signature can be obtained. If this is not an option, UPS can require a signature for additional $4.00 to ensure that your package arrives safely.

Orders received by 12:00pm will be shipped same day. Orders received after 12:00pm will be shipped the next business day unless there is a specified ship date. During our very busy holiday season, orders may take up to 48 hours to process.
