PHILADELPHIA – Friday, August 4 is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day and The Famous 4th Street Cookie Company will be celebrating with TWO weeks of free cookies, discounts, donations, and more!
“Our city is known for its famous 4ths and this year we are officially adding August 4th as another Famous Philadelphia holiday,” said Tina Phillips, co-owner of The Famous 4th Street Cookie Company. “There’s no better way to mark our favorite day of the year than by eating Chocolate Chip Cookies for a good cause!”
On August 4th, enjoy $1 Chocolate Chip Cookies ALL DAY at all Famous 4th Street Cookie Co. retail locations (Reading Terminal Market, Ridge Ave. Bakery, Booths Corner, Margate Bay, and the Wildwood and Ocean City Boardwalks). The Famous 4th Street Cookie Company will donate 100% of Chocolate Chip Cookie sales to Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region (RMHC).
As an added bonus to Reading Terminal Market customers, the Famous 4th Street Cookie Co. will be making one customer “famous” every hour from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., awarding them with a FREE cookie every day for a FULL year. Additional free cookie giveaways will happen all day long throughout the market. Can’t get to the market? Famous 4th Street Cookies will donate 1,000 Chocolate Chip Cookies to spread some joy to the families at the Ronald McDonald House. Famous 4th Street Cookies will deliver trays of cookies to the Ronald McDonald House locations in West and North Philadelphia and to the Oncology Floor at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Famous 4th Street Cookies is starting the celebration early on July 24th by offering a FREE box of 12 Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies with every online purchase of $25 or more at famouscookies.com. Famous 4th Street Cookies will also be offering a $10 Box of 6 Chocolate Chip Cookies with 100% of proceeds going to support the families at the Ronald McDonald House. In 2022, The Famous 4th Street Cookie Company raised $7,000 in donations for RMHC on National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day. Donations to the RMHC will fund the care and support of families of seriously ill children.
